You will laugh, cry and dance so much your feet will hurt on your wedding day. This will be a party your family and friends talk about for years to come.

Some DJ services will show up after dinner and only play a select playlist. I will arrive before your guests to sound check and set up lighting and will be there for cocktail hour, dinner and announcements. I also am happy to work in guest requests when appropriate.

We will work together to create a game plan for your big day with song selections, timelines for speeches, introductions and more. However, this is not written in stone. If you want to make a change to your plan the day of, I can be flexible to meet your needs.

I know it's overwhelming with all of the choices out there for hiring a DJ. You may be at the point where this is the last vendor you have to choose and you just want to get this last vendor selected.

Please do not rush this decision. Be sure you hire a DJ who is personable, professional and will make your reception one to remember.

Having a fun and playful MC who can keep the flow and energy going throughout the night is important to the success of your reception. A wedding is a full day event and it is important that your DJ keeps the night moving on schedule to prevent your guests from becoming bored. It is just as important for an MC to not be too overbearing on the microphone and turn your guests off. My style is to win the crowd over early in the night and get them motivated to party later. Later in the night during dancing I tend to focus more on reading the crowd and mixing in the right songs to keep the party going.

Ensuring that your ceremony music sounds crisp and played in the proper order is important to the success of your ceremony. It is also important to ensure the officiant and yourselves can be heard by your guests. I will provide a high quality set up along with a clip on mic that will pick up your voices so you can be heard clearly. We will work together to pick the right ceremony music for you and I will sound check to ensure the most optimal sound for your wedding day. I will also ensure your music is cued up and ready to go in the proper order.

Light up the dance floor with color. Unlike some DJ companies that use lasers and strobes that show up in pictures, I solely use a series of wash lights and par cans that paint the room with assorted color during your reception. I also hold off on using lights during your important dances to ensure your photos turn out perfect for those moments. During dancing, your photos of your guests will have shades of color in the background, not lasers and dots that will show up on people in the photos. My lighting set up is also clutter free with wires well hidden.

Surround your room with warm colors that match your color theme. This accents your photos and adds a romantic vibe to your reception. Later in the night, the lights are programmed to change to the beat of the music adding additional lighting effect to the dance floor.

Make speeches from where ever you are comfortable in the room. My mics are top of the line brands used by professionals so you can be assured the mics will pick up voices anywhere in the room. If you have a guest brave enough for a singalong, I am open for that as well.
