Let’s face it. Planning a wedding is stressful. With the thousand decisions that go into a wedding, my goal is to remove the pressure of planning the reception, so all you need to worry about is having fun. I do this through a comprehensive process that results in a party for you and your guests to enjoy and remember for years to come.

1. Discovery

An initial consultation to get to know you and your vision for the day.

2. Proposal

I take what I learned during discovery to create two to three customized packages for you to choose from that meets your needs.

3. Contract and Deposit

After you select your preferred package, a contract is signed with a 25% down payment with the remainder due the day of the event.

4. Planning

About two months before the big day, I will have you begin filling out The DJ Mike Wedding Planner that captures all details for the day including song selections (must plays and must not plays), announcements, formalities and any other special requests.

5. Final Meeting

I will meet up with you for a site visit, if possible, and go over your itinerary one last time before the wedding to ensure alignment on details. I typically like to do this over drinks at your preferred watering hole.

6. Lets Party

The day of, I typically arrive several hours early to sound check and ensure my lighting is working properly. I then facilitate and execute on our agreed upon plan for the evening including music for cocktail hour, introductions, dinner, toasts/speeches, first dance, and packing your dancefloor all night.
